About Harbor Walk

If you’re looking for the lowest priced condos in Dana Point, California, it’s a good idea to look at the community of Harbor Walk. This is considered to be a best kept secret, because of its amenities and affordability. These homes are perfect for people looking to invest in beach homes, or first time buyers as well.

Harbor Walk was built in the heart of the city by Somerset in 1985. The 78 condos have several floor plans, all of which include a one-car garage. There are one to two bedrooms, and boast living space that ranges from 490 to 900 square feet. Residents have access to a community swimming pool. This tract is situated on Camino Capistrano.

This community, which is within the Capistrano Beach area, is close to many shopping centers and stores like Costco. Nearby is the Dana Point Harbor and Doheny Beach, where you’ll find lots of water sports and beach boutiques. The Dana Point Marina has over 1,400 slips that can accommodate vessels up to 85 feet in length.

Harbor Walk is served by the Capistrano Unified School District, which offers facilities like Palisades Elementary School as well as highly ranked facilities like Shorecliffs Middle School and San Juan Hills High School. There are also several private schools in this city, such as West River Academy Broderick Montessori School, Gloria Del Lutheran Preschool, and Capo Beach Christian School.

The City of Dana Point began building homes in the early 1900s. This popular surfing destination is one of only a few in Orange County with its own harbor. The city was named after Richard Henry Dana, Jr., who wrote Two Years Before the Mast, describing this area as the “only romantic spot on the coast.” The harbor is now bustling with activity, and features a replica of the Pilgrim, Dana’s ship. And today this is a California Historical Landmark.
